We face many demands, challenges, and opportunities in our daily lives. Through the ups and downs of life, God is sovereignly forming us into the image of Christ. The Apostle Paul stated in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” God created each of us for a unique purpose and calling for His glory. He is constantly crafting us to be and do the good work He intends for us. We grow in Christ and His fruitfulness as we understand and cooperate with God’s life-long formation in us.

What is your FOCUS?
Karl is facilitating the online FOCUS course to help others clarify their unique calling and contribution for God’s kingdom. You are invited to be part of the upcoming FOCUS course starting on Monday, March 11, 2024, from 7:00-8:30 PM (South Africa Time, +2 GMT). (This would be 10:00-11:30 AM Pacific Standard Time after daylight savings time change).
This FREE 6-session ZOOM course will help you. Each week, you will watch empowering videos, complete personal worksheets, and discuss insights and applications as a team.
In the course, you will:
- Look at your story to identify how God has uniquely prepared and gifted you.
- Capture your most important life lessons.
- Identify lies and wounds that could be holding you back from living the life Jesus intended.
- Discover your natural abilities.
- Identify the people and causes that you wish to make a difference in.
- Formulate your contribution cluster: the top three energizing interests and activities that you are most energized by.
- Develop a personal calling statement describing the person God has called you to be and the work He has called you to do.
Here are two calling statements that people came up with in the last course:
- My calling is: to be a child of the Most High, connecting with individuals through intentional relationship building as a friend, listener, and companion.
- My calling is: to delight in and connect with God heart-to-heart, knowing that His face is turned toward me and living out of that rest. Connecting with people, listening to, caring for, and serving others to add worth and wholeness to women, young people, and my family through facilitation, teaching/training, and mentoring/coaching.
